Current Course Conditions
USGA Agronomic Consultation Report
Chesapeake Hills Golf Course is committed to providing the best possible playing conditions for our golfers through sound agronomic practices and continuous course improvement.
As part of that commitment, we welcomed Darin Bevard, Director of Championship Agronomy for the United States Golf Association (USGA), for a comprehensive on-site course evaluation. During his visit, Mr. Bevard toured the golf course with our staff, reviewed current maintenance practices, assessed overall turf health and playing conditions, and provided professional recommendations to help guide the future management of the course.
The USGA Agronomic Consulting Service provides science-based recommendations and industry best practices that assist golf course superintendents and facility managers in making informed decisions regarding turfgrass management, irrigation, cultural practices, and long-term course sustainability.
We appreciate the opportunity to work with the USGA and value the expertise provided through this consultation. The recommendations outlined in the report will help us continue enhancing course conditions while maintaining a healthy and sustainable golf course for our patrons.
We believe in transparency and encourage our golfers and community members to learn more about the work being done to improve Chesapeake Hills Golf Course.
